Welcome to Milford, Delaware's Web Site. We invite you to tour our fair City through the Internet and hope you will want to visit us soon.

Milford's growing population is approximately 10,500. Our City has small town friendliness with traditional American values. Milford is a very neighborly community where citizens and officials work together for continuous growth and prosperity.

We have a strong industrially based economy with abundant service and commercial businesses. Our local Downtown Organization has worked very hard to keep our main street area vibrant and thriving. Our many Civic Organizations contribute the seasoning for the successful blend of business and industry in the City of Milford.

Our City is alive and well with shopping, bank and area tourist attractions with various festivals throughout the year. Milford is the proud home of our current and first woman Governor of the State of Delaware---Governor Ruth Ann Minner.

Milford has a school system that is among the finest in the State, great youth recreational programs, high-quality churches of all denominations, extremely low crime rate and a very manageable cost of living---just a few qualities that separate Milford, Delaware from other small cities. A good place to call home.
