The Milford Police Department currently has two evidence technicians. These officers are assigned the task of responding to major cases such as robberies, major burglaries and homicides to perform the task of processing a crime scene to locate minute pieces of evidence left at the scene. This may involve dusting the area for latent fingerprint evidence, bloodstains, DNA evidence, crime scene photography and more. Currently the evidence technicians have a mobile office from which to work; It is equipped with the latest advances in crime scene processing equipment.
