On August 19, 2020 Governor Carney's office announced $100M in grants available to small businesses and nonprofits statewide, called the DE Relief Grants.

The City of Milford, along with the Delaware Prosperity Partnership and numerous other Delaware partners, are jointly conducting a series of business surveys to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on business operations across the State of Delaware. The initial survey was conducted from March 20 – March 24, and have included some key findings from that initial survey in the below documents.

The aggregate results of these surveys will be used to inform local and State elected officials, government agencies and others of the economic and human impact that the COVID-19 virus has had on employers in Delaware. The surveys are part of a national effort by local economic development organizations and chambers of commerce. It will be conducted several times as things are changing quickly.
In addition, the State of Delaware Division of Small Business has put together a loan comparison table to help businesses compare the various loan programs available through the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Division of Small Business.
