Bicycle Master Plan

The City of Milford Bicycle Advisory Committee is seeking the public’s input as they work to revise the 2011 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.  The intent of the revision is to update the inventory of existing and planned facilities, update the identification of gaps and impediments, provide more public involvement and input, and identify specific alignments and policy changes to help Milford become a more bike friendly community.

The Committee, in conjunction with Century Engineering, has worked with a broad range of residents, users, and community-based and government agencies to create the data that will be presented to the public and reviewed by the Committee.

Members of the public are invited to comment on the data gathered either in person, online, or by mail.

The meeting will be held in the Lions Room at Milford Public Library, 11 SE Front Street in Milford, Delaware from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.  The purpose of the meeting will be to receive public comments regarding existing bicycling infrastructure by identifying key destinations, existing routes, impediments, and gaps, and to answer questions. Representatives of Century Engineering and DelDOT will also be on hand.
