City of Milford Strengthens Emergency Communications with RAVE Technology

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Milford, DE (October 22, 2024) – In the wake of recent devastating hurricanes, the City of Milford is prioritizing resident safety by implementing a new emergency communication system from RAVE technologies.

This innovative tool will allow the City to directly reach residents with critical information during emergencies, including power outages, flooding, or other threats. Milford's proximity to the coast makes preparedness even more crucial.

“The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority,” said City Manager Mark Whitfield, “With the increasing frequency and intensity of storms, it’s vital that we have a reliable communication system in place to keep everyone informed during emergencies.”

How it Works:

Residents can expect to receive emails from the city with a return address of cityofmilford@email.getrave.com. These emails will contain important information and may include instructions on how to stay safe.

Verify Your Email Address:

If you receive an email from the city, please click the link to confirm your email address. This will ensure you receive critical updates during emergencies.
