TRAFFIC ALERT - Kent and Sussex County - Closure of Griffith Lake Drive between Williamsville Road and Meadow Brook Lane

Milford -- Closure of Griffith Lake Drive between Williamsville Road and Meadow Brook Lane
Milford - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces the start of a road closure for bridge painting work at the Bridge on Griffith Lake Drive over Griffith Lake Spillway beginning on September 16. The purpose of the project is to clean and paint the structural steel and concrete.. Griffith Lake Drive will be closed between Williamsville Road and Meadow Brook Lane. This work is anticipated to be completed in mid-October 2025, weather permitting
Detour - Northbound motorists will use Abbotts Pond Road, turn right onto Williamsville Rd, and arrive back at Griffith Lake Drive.
Southbound motorists will use Williamsville Road, turn left onto Abbotts Pond Road, and arrive back at Griffith Lake.
Motorists are reminded to use caution around the work zone and plan for minor travel delays.
